8-course Michelin 3-star meal, marking
8 years since Prantik Mazumdar and I first met
6 years of me, to Singapore, embarking
4 years of partnering as parents

So, this little ode is only befitting
To honour the coveted resto
It’s simply elegant yet dazzling
Serving gorgeous food with gusto

French contemporary terrain
With some Japanese touches too
Welcomed by a cup of mushroom tea & a glass of champagne
Followed by some delectable amuse bouche

The charred avocado was such a blast
Of flavour and texture in the mouth
The Promenade A Singapour – salad
Was a herby, floral tribute to the little Red dot

The heirloom beetroot dish
Sure was to a connoisseur’s delight
The smoked organic egg delish
With the dramatic entry – a fancy sight

For mains, I had the zucchini composition,
the miso-endive and the squash agnolotti
The non-veg counterpart was the acclaimed crusted pigeon
That flew in with a little note attached to it’s foot, so tiny!

Stacked up in the end were desserts galore
Melting good, of flavours yuzu, basil and peach too
The heart kept leaping back and forth for more
Of the personalised chocolate special, in the name of Ayu

What a peachy good evening we had indeed
One for the lifetime-memories treasure-chest
The fine dining and wine, satisfaction guaranteed
The people kind, warm hearts — all smiles; the very best!
